USAdrop Connection Policy

This policy governs how DashCost connects to your USAdrop account while USAdrop does not yet offer a public API or OAuth integration for third-party analytics tools.
1. Purpose
DashCost offers USAdrop connectivity so merchants can import product cost (COGS) into profit reports. Because USAdrop has not launched an official public integration, you provide your own USAdrop login so DashCost can sync data on your behalf.
2. Your USAdrop account
When you connect USAdrop in DashCost, you enter the email and password for your own USAdrop account. You confirm that you are authorized to grant DashCost access to sync order and product cost data for your store and workspace.
3. How DashCost uses access
Your credentials are stored using envelope encryption and are used only to authenticate automated sync jobs that fetch order and product cost data relevant to your connected workspace. DashCost does not use your USAdrop access for unrelated purposes.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to: • Provide credentials for a USAdrop account you own or are authorized to use • Keep your USAdrop password secure and update it in DashCost if you change it • Notify DashCost if you suspect unauthorized use of your connection • Disconnect USAdrop in DashCost when you no longer need the integration
5. Beta limitations
This integration is provided on a best-effort basis during the pre-official API period. Availability, sync frequency, and data fields may change without notice. DashCost does not guarantee uninterrupted USAdrop access.
6. Disconnecting and credential changes
You may disconnect USAdrop at any time from the Connections page. If you change your USAdrop password, reconnect in DashCost with the updated credentials. DashCost may disable connections that fail authentication repeatedly.
7. Transition to official access
When USAdrop provides an official API or OAuth integration, DashCost may migrate you to an approved authorization flow. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active workspaces before material changes.
8. Acceptance
By checking the acceptance box and clicking Connect in DashCost, you confirm that you have read this policy and agree to these terms on behalf of your organization.
